Day 24 - Las Campanas, Santa Fe

Why stay at the Anasazi, when you have the Cottonwood?

On this corner you can obtain almost everything you'll ever need.

Wherever we go in Santa Fe, the Thunder Chicken waits. And watches. For an opportunity to pounce.

Eeeeargh!! This is the battiest intersection in the world. Cars and trucks run at all angles, and that's the Thunder Chicken rail right through the whole mess for good measure.

Just another normal day in Santa Fe traffic.

The Santa Fe they don't show you on the tourist brochures.

A very sad end of the road in our sub div. Go where?

Looks like a grand spacious expanse - houses thoughtfully dotting the landscape. Nope. This is a lot for sale - and there's another beside it - and yet another ...... no takers in sight.

I'm here and all ready for you - my services are at your disposal - I just need your company.

On the good side, it means there are few out here right now- just us and the occasional fly by.

The Sangre de Christo mountains live up to their name at sunset.
